Atlantic ocean is a couple of hours away by car and I went because we had bank holiday yesterday. I found this sand castle Vauban-style at the beach and was soooo delighted although sadly the person who made it was not around (beach was empty).

A star-shaped sand wall around a small sand castle (square base with round keep, both having crenels). The point towards the sea is open and there's a small sand ramp, and a few feet away a lone tower.
You can see it was low tide but the sea has a few waves

I was not in the best mood tonight, but Gokushufudo really lifted my spirits ! It's so funny and light 🤭

The simple joy of spotting a glowworm in the garden 🥰 Fun fact : the scientific name of the species (Lampyris) comes from Greek and means "shining ones" #entomology + #etymology [Of course a lot of the charm is lost when you take a pic with the flash on but I still wanted to share 🤭]

Just played the indie game Gris (Nomada Studios) and it was amazing ! Oh my god the art 😍 the soundtrack 😍 A gem I would recommend 200% #Indiegames

Update on the kitty situation : she stayed with me all afternoon/early night until the neighbors came home. I went straight to them when I heard their car (even though it was 1am 😬) and they said she jumped out before they left for the day and it was her 1st time in the outside world ever. 1/

My kefir is kefiring well 😌 It's all fermented and fizzy, so I'm going to filter it and I'll have some nice drinks for the next few days. I almost always make it lemon and fig flavored 😋 #fermentation

My nappa cabbage core had little leaves growing in between the cuts of the big ones so I put it in a bit of water for a few days (and then added a bit of soil) and now it has decided to fully regrow it seems 😂 #Eatyourveggies #Growyourveggies 🌱

Cat comes chilling with me when I'm on the couch or in the kitchen. Cat asks for cuddles and playtime. Cat is not mine in any way 😂 (This young cat comes from across the street and has been inviting catself in my place every time a window is open for a few weeks now 😅)

My take on kaanpoong tofu (a messy but delicious plate full of veggies) 😍🌱

A blue deep plate with one side of short grain rice and one side vegan kanpoong : cubes of tofu, slices of green chilis, and pieces of red, green and yellow bell peppers, all coated in a thick deep red sauce that splashed a bit on the edge of the plate

The lighting and angle are shitty so you can see half a pan, half a glass of water, a bit of the wooden table, and a green underplate, and shadows of the objects

Nephew was here for three weeks (had an internship in my old university) and today was the last day of his stay so we went out for a phô and some ice skating 😊

#Booksky Has anyone read The Woman Who Lost Her Soul by Bob Shacochis ? I struggle to finish it (read about 2/3 of it) and some parts made me feel queasy...

I have memories that are so beautiful that it hurts. Those moments are long gone and now I walk amongst ruins, trying to go forward. I hold my heart in my hands and aim to find that loud and fast beat that it used to have. Wake up my heart, it does no good to dwell so much on the past 🖤
