The British Library's book Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery has officially been announced! I'm very happy to have written a couple of chapters for this beautiful colour illustrated book that coincides with the exciting new exhibition. I might make an appearance there, too... #AgathaChristie

Very sorry to hear that Enyd Williams, producer of the excellent BBC radio Miss Marple and Poirot dramatisations, has died. She created an enduring legacy, and was a great help in my research. She also clarified that they were dramatisations, which gave the writers a higher fee than an 'adaptation'!
Does anyone else constantly get 'Sorry we can't show programmes that you've been watching right now' on iPlayer? I get it at least half the time across multiple devices (this is on Fire TV OS)

Gosh I love The New Avengers but K is for Kill is such a stinker. Achingly dull (imagine Sleeper The Eagle's Nest, Target!, Dead Men are Dangerous etc as two-parters instead!), and I note the director (Yvon Marie Coulais) seemingly has no other directorial credits. Not sure even this one counts.
I am very poor at following the private lives of Hollywood people so imagine my surprise on learning both the character and actor are straight
