The #17 - Chocolate Brownie: House made chocolate sauce, brownie pieces, almonds and ice cream on a smashed cinnamon roll.
I wonder if they still make this one: I bought it for reference for my first coloring gig about 20 years - the last issue of Frank Miller’s Robocop.
I have 1500+ clippy, and no use for them. CSP doesn't even have a way for people give them away to someone who can use them.
Fresh batch of flour tortillas for tonights dinner. Air-frying crispy buffalo chicken bites for protein, along with lettuce, cheese, salsa and cilantro-lime cream. I love using the tortilla press my wife got me for Christmas.
A little more WIP on this Timeline Editor for a closed captions editing app.
When it comes to terrifying sea life - Bobbit worms take the cake. Their whole face is a giant bear trap. They grow to 3M long, and they were the inspiration for the tentacles of the monster in Deep Rising. It’s a wonder we go in the ocean at all.
Has anyone made a "Where in the Morgue is Mitch McConnell" board game yet?
Went out for a walk and we lost power due to a fallen wire. That will teach me to exercise!
We’ve had ‘The Bobbit’, and I believe this will be called “The Wolowitz”
Really happy with my progress on a floating reference app for eyedropping colors in Clip Studio Paint. The SubView window in CSP is OK, but the tiny buttons, and gallery view are a bit of a pain, and there's no keyboard shortcuts. I use Stream Deck's Virtual Stream Deck to change images in my app.
Spent a bunch of time learning about the Canvas control in Xojo, then redid some stuff in my caption editor. The waveform, playhead and caption splitter are now all done in one canvas control instead of three.
There’s a super massive bouncy castle near our place. Does anyone have a Lawn Dart I can borrow? 😈
WIP for a menu-bar based reference app. Being menu-bar based means I can have hotkeys/shortcuts that work even when another app is frontmost. I'm using Virtual Streamdeck with CSP shortcuts that work on the reference app. It's rough, and needs more UI tweaks - but's it's already useable.
You know the barbeque sauce is going to be good when you’re licking the spatula like it has cake batter on it.
What exactly is the point of having a smaller, harder to read e-ink screen on the back of your iPhone?
We have more books on one shelf than Trump has on his $400M plane. #NoFakeBooks
When it absolutely, positively has to be fucked up - use AI. This is the kind of shit @mark-carney.bsky.social is championing for the 'future of Canada'
I’ve done that more than a few times. I also use a lock-screen note app so I see it on my phone first thing in the morning.
And the finished Bourbon Chocolate Cappuccino ice cream, all ready for eating. Definitely one of the best ice creams I’ve ever made. And if you eat enough, you definitely don’t want to drive.
