Retired, curmudgeon, finds humour in the weirdest of places.
Tonight: Prog Rock Prom. 7.30 pm BBC then available on iPlayer and BBC Sounds. This is my childhood revisited. Just look at the programme! www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
Shoulder Bag. I have a shoulder man bag for such occasions, for my phone and wallet and other extraneous items. I do have pockets in my shorts and trousers however as I don't have a decent waistline I find the weight of any contents tend to pull them down at inopportune moments!
There are a few manifesto's circulating, expect more ideas as he cranks up his campaign:
Took it in on our holiday travels recently, fascinated how the south end is just buried into the cliff on which the castle is built. Also how narrow the entrances were, fit only for one vehicle which would of been mainly horse drawn when built. Picture four has the toll charges listed.
I notice Nike levelled the field by giving Sinner a designer jacket this year, previous years they hadn't:
I see what you did there! You're not escaping: Cornish on left, Devon or right:
Someone who's encyclopedic knowledge of their topic I've always admired is Hazel Irvine. She also has bookfuls of reference in front of her as she works. I've often thought, when she retires, those books must be donated to some kind of sporting archive.
Not surprising. Nottingham starts today with Maria Sakkari vs Zheng Qinwen. Full circle moment for me as this tournament was the occasion when Maria first came to my notice. I've followed her career since. Outside court in 2017 - she was not ranked high enough for Centre. Jo Konta time!
I'm a Bakewell pudding man myself, but they are harder to source other than in the town itself:
Doesn't know how to tie a dignified tie knot? Or is he using an elasticated tie?
While on the Subject of Trumpian self glorification... As he's taken joint credit for the Kennedy Centre perhaps he should have his own matching bust in the lobby. It will have to be stylised in the same manner as Kennedys, I'm sure he'll love it😜:
You know that "Ballroom" development? How about this to keep the toddler occupied?
OP described their photo as a sculpture looking like a giant anus. Fitting for Trump.
No wonder Farage was looking lost. Look what Spud Hut Felixstowe claims about themselves:
A propos of nothing. The Miami Open logo. Ever since I first saw it years ago I thought "limp dicks". Never been able to unthink it.
