My own TIE-inspired heavy anti-capital-ship starfighter from the worldbuilding of a story campaign some friends and I made for a mashup of Starship Troopers and the World of Darkness tabletop RPG universe. For more info: techinfantry.fandom.com/wiki/AF-12_A...
Must have been installed by the same ironsmith who put this protective grate over this particular corner at the base of St. Paul Cathedral, London. Either that or it's some sort of child-sized torture/execution implement left over from the English Inquisition. (Pic is me, visiting in 2002)
I dunno, I'll ask the author. Hey @bakerhelm.bsky.social, is this a sapphic romance novel or what?
My Sister and I decided to also make some U.S. State Flag cupcakes for the big 250th. Too row L-R: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado. Mid row: Indiana, Minnesota, Texas, Tennessee. Bot row: New Mexico, Illinois, City of Chicago, District of Columbia.
Our special independence day 250th edition of homemade cheesecake. Oat nut crust, a layer of cheesecake, blueberry filling, another layer of cheesecake, cherry filling, dream whip, strawberry slice star and fresh blueberry decorations.
We have a running gag in our family about "weaponizing Murphy's Law" and this kind of thing is why.
One might think, as a squirrel, you'd be more sympathetic to those finding the need to occasionally reposition one's nuts.
My cat likes to flop on the floor and beg for belly rubs. If I kneel down and provide a belly rub, she purrs appreciatively...and a few seconds later, starts grabbing and viciously biting my arm. Not soft love bites, draw-blood bites digging the teeth in.
Of *course* someone so into Gooning that they got the vanity license plate GOONER R would put it on a Jag.
Okay, this guerrilla marketing for DISCLOSURE DAY is getting out of hand. I've never seen this much continuous lightning that apparently close with absolutely *No* audible sound of thunder. Just a little wind noise and my own asthmatic wheezing. Taken 10min ago in Chicago.
I've had this joke image on my computer for probably two decades, waiting for a good chance to use it.
🎶And I'm proud to be an American Where at least I've got AC And I won't forget the Brits who died in the Heatwave of '03 And I'd proudly stand up here at home and salute my Frigidaire 'cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless my Central Air🎶
Somehow he overheard someone else sing "Tender is the night", misheard it as "knight", and is now strapping himself into a suit of late-medieval plate armor. I'm guessing mid-1400s by the style of codpiece.
Thanks, Google AI, for managing to answer my question while still being ridiculously out of date. Even when it's right and even useful, it's still stupidly wrong.
I once joined some of my Farm Relatives in paddling a canoe across the Mississippi River to Iowa and back. A Giant Alligator Snapping Turtle attacked us and took a bite out of one of the paddles. Grandpa and Uncle Jack captured it and took it back to the farmhouse for Grandma to make Turtle Soup.
I guess the Dianoga sought Jamaharon. I thought they only liked to watch.
No, I don't think BLM is bullshit. Here I am at a BLM protest in 2020. I've actually been also marching against Homophobia and gender-related bigotry since 1994, when I was still in High School.
I apologize for the poor quality of this meme I made, I really should do a proper version rather than a quick-and-dirty MSPaint edit of someone else's.
When the media desperately tries to make you interesting by coining a momentum-based term for a minuscule jump in your popularity, it's Marcover.
Was. The Moon *was* his girlfriend. But that's okay, she was kind of a dickhead.
Bringing Pugs into battle with them didn't work out so well for House Atreides. Maybe bringing them to the negotiation table will work better.
