French professor here. I love literature, Art, music, nature (especially the sea) and exploring other cultures. No room in my joie de vivre space for meanies.
Thank you, Guy, for the lovely walk and beautiful reflection on seasons and life. I too noticed the subtle change on the sun’s position here in Pennsylvania near Philly as it sets in the west. I’m grateful for your words of calm as we move along in the seasons and in our lives.
Blizzard here too. This lovely female cardinal is waiting patiently for those daffodils this morning in our tree. It’s been a tough winter.
As the sun sets on another year (view from Cape May NJ) may the dawn of this new year refresh our souls and hearts so that we may bring our light to dispel the darkness around us. Happy New Year to All.
My father: WW2 Free French Forces Navy. Head canon operator on the Montcalm on D-day. Croix de Guerre recipient. A blessed Veteran’s Day to all who sacrificed so much and fought against fascism. The fight goes on…
Dump doesn’t want anyone showing pics of his wanton destruction of our historic national treasure for his 250 million ballroom. So go ahead, capture pics, and post far and wide on your social media accounts. Might be first time the republicans even see this catastrophe. Here are mine:
Beautiful sunset right now in my Pennsylvania backyard. Blessings, All!
Keep getting these meme lists out there to steal the thunder out from under their lying list to come. I’m sure this joke list is not too far off from what they are cooking up.
Remembering the sacrifice of all those who fought in the D-day invasion in Normandy. Here is my father, a member of the Free French Forces, who was the head canon operator on the Montcalm. His ship anchored that day and he fought bravely. I know he would be dismayed by current events. Merci papa!
Don’t forget to fill your social media with Obama pics on June 14th to honor St. Upid’s Day.
Showing who’s boss in Collegeville PA: We the People, that’s who! Good crowd!
I’m really enjoying your beautiful pictures and videos, especially those of the sea. I’m new to BlueSky and am drawn to this loveliness. Thanks for sharing. Here in return is a picture “across the pond” that I took of sunrise in Cape May, NJ on December 1 (my profile picture in fact):
