Mask season is here. If you have a mask, wear one when outside. You don't want to breathe the particulate in the air. Any of the N95 masks will work. You can even use the home construction masks. Anything to help filter the air is what you want.
I record daily weather observations for the fame and the glory, obviously. /s
Imagine NOT spending millions of dollars to not make a tagline and instead using that money to invest in departmental programs...
If only there were some deep rooted plants or shallow rooted plants to put on a field, like a cover, that could be grown in western Minnesota and in the plain states to help hold the soil in place... Ah, but alas, it's impossible 😢 www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
I am building old sets from my childhood under the guise of it's for Oliver, of course. Today I checked out a local Bricks and MiniFigs, and I got a large amount of the pieces I was missing! Digging through the bulk bin looking for pieces was a thrill.

A relic from another time... I wounder when the last time it had a Star Tribune newspaper in it? Location: Doughnut Star, Burnsville, MN
Words of wisdom from my undergraduate advisor, Calvin Alexander, at the Minnesota Groundwater Association spring meeting. "Computers are just a tool, don't let a computer program (or AI) limit how you answer a question."
Ah, I love the smell of conservation in the morning! Image captuon "pumping 20 million gallons. Drag lining allows for efficient manure application on heavy soil while minimizing ground compaction." That "heavy" soil is not accepting all that manure, but the local water way will...
Minnesota mention. Really solid story line from Star Trek Enterprise as well.
This rescue cat, and former street cat, somehow survived on the streets for a year. Now, full on spoiled.
