California sunset. Mt Tamalpais.

A landscape with many layers. The foreground are tree silhouettes that frame the bottom and two sides of the image. Some are coast live oaks and the sunset light gently reflects on their shiny leaves. Others are the dark silhouette of pines. The next layer, the middle of the image, is a hazy, lightly fogged city in a valley. A plateau with a huge grove of eucalyptus rises above the city on the upper left. Beyond, the Bay, and layers of clouds kissed with golden skin, and Mount Tam is furthest and most toweing above the clouds just under a delicate eggshell blue sky.

Breaking news bulletin: Tiny tongue!

An orange creamscicle striped kitty is laying on the back of the couch, between some cushions and a window. He's got yellow eyes and an airtag collar and one paw under him and the other paw out to show his round little toes. He also is sticking out his little pink tongue the tiniest bit!

Hmm that signature reminds me of something...

The creepy card from Donald Trump to Jeffery Epstein that was found in Epstein's birthday book. It features a crude line drawing of a headless, armless, legless body of a young girl. Donald Trump's signature is on the drawing's pubic area, and the body has a creepy poem inside:

Rainy day walks

A beautiful chestnut brown shepherd husky mix dog sits proudly atop a huge rhyolite crag with rusty and beige colors, looking lovingly upon the landscape. Rain clouds and conifer in the sky behind his back

Rhyolite boulders glimmer with wet mosses, grasses and lichen growing along their luminous chalky white and rust surfaces. The huge, wavy boughs of a chestnut tree twist just above, its clusters of pinkish white flowers are starting to bloom. Ferns and deep moss are visible amongst the trees.

Monarch caterpillars have arrived in the pollinators garden! Aphids are also there, the livestock of ants. My milkweed plants are all still very small, I'm worried they will run out of leaves to eat. Should I then move them to some bigger milkweeds down the street?

First bearded iris in the garden plot

Iris blades are bright green and upright with pointed ends. An old wooden board forms the edge of a planting bed. One iris stem blooms with a purple, ruffle-edged set of petals that fade to lilac and white towards the center. The single flower is purple on a field of large, jagged, silver-green artichoke leaves.

Sunday morning with coffee and the most delightful little set of portable watercolors and brush pen

Ate husk cherries at the garden today

Redwoods and Plum Blossoms
