Background: Dr. Portia Schwarzchild serves as a specialist aboard the deep-space vessel Adephagia. Originally a researcher on the Cygnus, she was involved in an experiment to create a controlled singularity near the Oort cloud. When the containment field failed, the resulting singularity consumed the ship and its crew. Portia uniquely survived, persisting as a consciousness within the singularity itself. Over time, she learned to manipulate her mass and gravity, eventually discovering how to redistribute her form to resemble her original self. Upon returning home, she facilitated the development of the Adephagia to provide her with a controlled environment to study her condition and to utilize her ability to safely dispose of dangerous celestial bodies.

Background: In the mid ‘90s, Mataki landed a job at Zero Quality Industries, a company run by Zero Wolfe, to demonstrate a size-changing device at trade shows. After repeated exposure to the device, she developed the ability to change her size at will, an ability she worked on as hard as she could while still employed at ZQI. By the time she was discovered, she had absorbed enough of the energy to allow her to reach tremendous sizes.

Over the last few decades, she has grown more and more adept and powerful in her size-changing abilities, assisted others with their own journeys, and eventually discovered alternate selves in other dimensions and developed a hive consciousness with them.

She helped create Megamatch as a way to showcase growth as a competitive sport among those that find it fascinating, and she serves as the current commissioner.
Personality: Initially quite greedy and fixated on her size journey, she has mellowed out in recent years and adopted a more laid-back attitude. She enjoys her place in history and is content to watch new talent, helping where she can, but she’s always happy to talk about growth!

Background: Gehenna arose as the result of an occult project in the early twentieth century, a project to create a being to serve as a muse of the arcane, able to assist with spells and rituals without the need to find and search for the relevant information. While she was filled with a great deal of knowledge from a multitude of tomes, she was also given the power to explore the minds of those running the project directly in an effort to speed up the process of teaching her. She found much in their minds other than knowledge, and she learned to use their desires in order to make her situation more comfortable.

One day, a new acolyte arrived to assist the project. He became quite smitten with Gehenna, and having an affinity for giantess fantasies, he naturally began to picture her as one. Once she read his thoughts and found the augmented visions of her, she delved deeper, asking him to picture her becoming one. To the amazement of both, she was able to replicate the process in reality. This then became her primary focus, and she developed her new talent as much as she could.
Once her new ability was discovered, the project runners feared her power, and the project was closed hastily. While her physical form was nullified, a fragment of her spirit remained, seeking a new opportunity to find another audience that would allow her to again manifest herself.

During her initial teleportation test, her DNA was rewritten in a way that caused her to start growing, and her growing body demanded food. While her situation has stabilized, she retains the ability to grow through consumption of matter or energy.

She uses Megamatch to provide an outlet for her body’s need to grow, allowing her to expend its energy in a creative way and to avoid having to do so in other less desirable situations. She and fellow Megamatch competitor Titania have developed an intense rivalry due to their shared experiences at Bartok.
Personality: Samantha’s personality shifts between friendly and easygoing, when her body’s energy spikes are low, to intense and direct when she feels her body’s desire to expand start to build. Her decision-making becomes decidedly less altruistic the larger–and/or hungrier–she becomes.

Personality: Titania has a driven, controlling demeanor. Her desire for power is a primary motivator, and she has no qualms doing what’s necessary to get it. This puts her in villainess territory more often than not.
