someone reminded me abt chimaera, 1 of my favorite deep sea freaks. which also reminded me that those weird spiny pad tentacles displacer beasts have are actually a real thing (chimaera have them). they're called tentacula & the spines are called denticles (they're made out of Tooth Stuff).

the actual writing in the manga is stylized/shorthandy in that way that i as a non-native writer struggle to make look natural with a pencil let alone a brush lol so we'll see if i can make it not look too shitty (or perhaps worse, too formal).

was typing up a tweet abt my feelings abt a particular thing in fiction and then slow walked myself to at least 2 separate late-breaking realizations, and couldn't formulate the tweet in a way that didn't read as desperately sad so now i'm standing here like bob bobsburgers.

whenever i scroll too far down on one of those Articles That Trick You Into Reading Them But Actually Contain Zero Information, i keep getting served these bizarre AI ads about Side Sleepers & their achy necks. idek what to say about this image, but i had to see it so now you do too.

Every time they refer to their machine they call it "Advanced Nanobubbler Technology".

Side-Note: Wonder if someone's cousin owns this company. lol

At 172 liters of treated water per minute (ideal conditions, as reported by the company itself) that's about 148,837.2 minutes, or about 2,480 hours or about 103 days until the "advanced nanobubbler technology" would have treated the entire body of water.

If you wanna be generous & write Interior office fanfiction, let's imagine the feds deployed 10 of these things. that's still a 10.3-day job, assuming they are using the machines correctly.

I don't know about you, maybe i'm just overly cynical & suspicious, but that just doesn't seem like what actually happened here. lol"
