I reviewed The Light of Kasaban by @thomashowardriley.bsky.social There is a sense of looming pressure and stress, built up from the stark, brutal beginning, that lingers and hangs in the balance until the abrupt ending, which brought both sadness and a slight glimmer of hope.
I did t buy this when I had the chance & may just go pull the trigger but it’s at a used book store in another state.
