Every time I sit down to get on with some work, there’s something else… 😬 The brambles ARE a problem - and I have largely ignored the bottom of the garden in favour of the sides - but you’ll get on a lot better if you just knock on the door and save your passive-aggressive notes for later on.
Nobody owns a cat. You just agree to feed and house them - and if you’re lucky, they pretend to love you for your trouble.
Thought I’d posted this yesterday, but it obviously disappeared into the ether. Undead grumpy Astro type thing - doodled in the car. I was not driving.

Came upstairs to tidy my side of the bedroom. It’s actually quite important I get it done, but, within 20 seconds, I’d picked up a polishing cloth, then started polishing a 1937 silver crown. Now I’m posting about it on social media. Why am I like this??

Always the random doodles that bring me the most joy. Making it up as I go, adding colour on the fly. Why would you want to just generate that? I honestly can’t imagine a less satisfying process.
Snippets of things what I am making… Passed an important milestone in the page count yesterday. It’s the longest comic I’ve ever worked on for myself. Have broken the 50 page barrier. Previous best: 10 pages.
I can’t tell you how many times a day we have to play this game. Just look how forlorn he is when he thinks it’s over.
Life drawing efforts. Still a bit frightened of paint - but it IS only my second go. Tediously, that’s it until September now. Didn’t see that coming - going to have to look for another class!
Looking for some art stuff the other day and came across a bunch of masks from TheCovidTimes. Today - less than two full days later, I need a mask. Can I find them again? Can I bollocks.
My favourite part of any project: noodling designs and that in front of the TV.
TV noodling with symmetry. It’s been a weird couple of months, but I think I might actually want to get back to work again. I might have to circle back to the page I’ve been drawing forever, though - as it’s obviously cursed now.
Finally made it to life drawing. Mixed results. Taking paint and a big brush next time.
Maui Miaowi went missing this morning. He’s an indoor boy, but must’ve slipped out somehow. He’s got zero road sense and panics easily - Mrs T is distraught. We’ve been out and looked for him and can only hope he makes his way home again. 🙁
Soldiers - is there really a tiny hole for you to stick your head out of a tank? If so, do you not worry about somebody slamming on the brakes and smashing all the teeth out of your head? I feel like this is something that would concern me a lot.
That time TheBoy dislocated his finger in two places while playing basketball… 🤮
