Why Care?

Veteran. Been a public servant for 40+ years. From 1986-2016 I lived in Germany and spoke to many ex-nazis. They all warned that the problem with democracy is anyone can be a Hitler. Be warned! buymeacoffee.com/Mbman5056
This is my mom at one of her baby showers. We were four kids but I can't say which one of us this picture is from as I'm the last one alive. Happy Mother's Day ❤️!
This is where I stand. I use to support space programs but unless we can manage this planet how the hell can we expand?
Folks- I'm a person who goes by gut instinct. I recommend that every one stock up on canned goods, rice, beans and pasta. If you can- grow a garden. Something is about to happen. Even if I'm wrong you lose nothing. Please let me know what you think. I've been busy.
Happy New Year to anyone that follows me and just wishes we could all have empathy to one another and loose the cruelty . Dispute the cold- when I went out to work in the greenhouse I found a strawberry 🍓. Perhaps a sign.
The meal consists of apple glazed brisket, braided pork ribs, orange glazed Cornish hens, creamed brussel sprouts, red cabbage, rice pilaf, Mac and cheese, and German potato dumplings. I was in the kitchen 6 hours 😂.
I absolutely love this time of year. I'm going to a Christmas Party tonight. I may not be a religious person but I will always celebrate food. I just want us to share bounty. I grew up very poor. Let's at least be able to share food.
share.google/v9q6hNMjFdRk... To all members of the military - especially officers- this is a reason why you need to prepare for the removal of this tyrant! This is what he is doing to this country and you are compliant if you don't step up.
July 1st. My garden. From here on out it will start to degrade. I'm surrounded by trees and the sun will go lower on the horizon. BTW - it's 🔥🥵.
How to use grocery store strawberries and grow your own. 1. Cut the outside of and place on paper towels. Dry in sun for 8 hours. 2. Place the paper towel on potted soil. Place a thin layer on top and water. 3. Wait a year!
Everything coming along well. I'm growing Beefsteak, Roma, Grape, and Better Boy tomatoes. First time growing strawberries. Beans are abundant. TBD- okra and corn. Been getting a lot of rain lately.
Starting corn and okra. You should direct sow both but I have never had a problem starting them in cups.
No Matter how they try- they can't make us buy their shit. If you don't need it don't buy it. I have been living like this for years. Grow your own food if you can. You don't need a lot of space to grow a lot of food. This space feeds my family.
I know this is nothing to some but to me it's a mini miracle. I took strawberries from the grocery store and made a strawberry patch in my garden. It took 18 months but this is the first of many to come. Folks- be prepared for hard times.
Way ahead of you. Also- people need to grow 'Victory' gardens. Everyone can grow there own food. It's not hard.
Spring has sprung! My small garden so far. I let my Pak Choi turn to seed so the yellow flowers draw pollinators + seeds. My citrus trees survived the winter too. Lettuce is abundant.
It's a start. Seedlings growing. I'm letting the Pak Choi turn to seed to save them for fall.
Someone recently asked me what grow in the snow? Pak Choi does. I started this in November. It's end of February and it's ready. Soup and chop suey ready.
Spring cleaning. I'm getting ready for seed planting. The winter greenhouse is gone.
