This delay is unfortunately caused by IKEA ruining the IVAR by no longer selling pre-assembled sides. The IKEA reviews are now 100% “you ruined my favorite bookcase” and “why is there no warning on your website that you massively changed the assembly of a classic product”

NOT assembled!
I was absolutely in shock when I received this in pieces that I had to assemble. There was nothing I recall seeing in the catalog description indicating this new change. They are incredibly difficult to put together. In fact of the 4 I bought, I only assembled 1 before giving up. They are no longer my "go to" shelving units.
