🌱 Wanted to share an oasis of bald cypress, native royal palm, palmetto or cabbage palm? in a pond behind a doctor’s office parking lot. The water is connected via canal leading eventually to the Gulf of Mexico. Second photo, I wanted to show cypress knees underneath a cypress & live oak tree 🤔

One of my pet spiders (Spinybacked Orbweaver) hanging up near my roof soffits at the end of June. If you look closely you can see a portion of the large, beautiful orb web to the left. Unfortunately I have no skills to photograph them properly 🙄

🌱 An empty abandoned mockingbird’s nest found after a windy thunderstorm. Frankie 🐈‍⬛ now enjoys dismantling it because of all the twigs he can add to his stick collection 🐾

An abandoned mockingbird nest found on the ground after a storm. My black cat 🐈‍⬛ Frankie enjoys taking it apart to add to his stick collection. I haven’t been able to get a photo of him doing that yet. (*please note: all my cats are strictly indoor cats. We are very fortunate that they can enjoy spending supervised outdoor time in a secure screened porch)
