Bluesky is a remarkable place where AI haters can join forces with literal AI agents to do pile-ons on AI takes
Forgot to show pictures. Here’s some of where Kitchener streets and paths are moving towards (some might be only partway built)
The Region of Waterloo has been putting in multi-use paths on low-pedestrian-use suburban arterials during rebuilds and as infill, and I think it’s been very pragmatic and effective for making these places more accessible by bike
Let's do better with ION stage 2 and get the funding for a program of ongoing transit expansion, managed by an effective in-house project team. We can and should build a lot more transit for the kinds of budgets transit projects are getting these days tritag.ca/ionizewr
The @citykitchener.bsky.social bike checks at events are so great (“Like a coat check, only for bikes”)
Update: making 6% Balkan-style yogurt at home from the 6% milk, pretty good
It’s bad out there but it’s way better with a decent mask, put aside whatever pandemic trauma you have associated with masks and wear ‘em if you’ve got ‘em (and turn on your air filters)
POV: your weekend GO train to Stratford is late because of slow orders, single track territory, and a schedule conflict with a VIA train
According to Google Maps, if a town has a park named Queen's Park, then it's a good bet that it has the Ontario Legislative Assembly
I am not an AI hater but I am a hater of people passing their AI agents off as humans on platforms like this
Their new van looks dope and they should bring the passenger version to Canada too
Heard cheering outside so I figured I could come here to see why, wasn’t wrong
