Taking a break from the world with one of my most prized possessions

One great thing I did in 2025 was get a good camera and take some photos. You get to go on little photo adventures and get cool pictures out of it. And meet a lot of cats.

A very tasty caramel looking apple cake. It looks tasty and brown and caramelized from being cooked in a skillet and then flipped out. There are visible apples and walnuts on the cake. It is a low cake, less than the height of a cast iron skillet. It is about the size of a ten inch cast iron skillet.

I can’t speak exactly to the pdf markup situation since I don’t have a kobo stylus but the black text in PDFs with colour pictures/art look just as good as epub, and if you colour highlight in an epub it doesn’t affect the rest of the text noticeably
