Went looking for statues of great men in London. I found two.
I actually produced my own flow chart for identifying penguins. I confess it took a couple of hours to produce, whereas the AI was able to produce something in a few seconds. Mine has the advantage of being correct. But the process of producing it had real benefits. 1/?
I asked google AI to make me a "flowchart" for identifying penguins. Look at this nonsense.
FWIW my favourite camera bag in it’s current travelling rig.
Next was a visit to a buddhist temple that really reinvigorated my interest in, um, stoicism.
First stop on my tour of Korea and Japan was the Maritime Museum in <checks notes> Amsterdam?
Post your favourite Doctor Who, wrong answers only. Actually, I'm pretty sure Death in Paradise and Doctor Who are the same show - regenerating main character, cast of assistants, puzzle of the week, etc.
If the real Keanu Reeves ever decides to give BlueSky a try, everyone is just gonna block him on sight.
Administrators are necessary, actually. From the Kent Community Health board papers.
Went back tonight with a proper camera. Better but still not one for the portfolio. Don't know if I can do any better without a flash and I'm not going to do that to them. At least it looks like a bat, or possibly a batarang.
Silvan Dillier, one of the early breakaway riders. Wanting to put on a show at home no doubt. Very impressed with my camera's ability to focus, this guy was racing so coming towards me at 50kmh or so, yet I can still read his name etched in his sunglasses.
So this chap is a soigneur and his job is to hand out water bottles (bidons) and gels to the racers. Most countries go with their national colours, but the British team clearly decided that a big red cross on a white cross on a blue background wasn't distinctive enough.
The front of the peloton chasing the breakaway. The Belgians missed the break but fancied their chances, so committed fully to the chase.
Is it me or does this bike have the face of an angry samurai?
An early breakaway at the world road race championships. With the possible exception of round the world yachting, road racing has to be the worst possible sport for spectators. Sometimes you wait for an hour or two, then 150 riders whizz past and you go home to watch the race on the TV. 1/?
Attending mandatory training today for a topic (IT's contribution to climate change) I can do absolutely nothing about. This is very much my vibe.
