anyway I figured out how to take screenshots of films on the Criterion Channel and get around their DRM so it's over for everyone on this site (probably mostly posting Godzilla shots)
Never felt so got by the Brian Eno quote about mediums than realizing I have a fondness for early YouTube-era video quality now, although I think it's partially because it represents a time when the site was less massive
Highly recommend the Godzilla Fest shorts to the Godzilla fans. Watching them all and having a good time. Just happy to see my boy Jet Jaguar

Liberation is a very approachable open world space sim that happens to be funny too. I bounce off a lot of space sims because they're too complex for me but I think this is a nice middle ground between that and arcade space sims. Inspired by the classic show Blake's 7. classyk.itch.io/liberation
