Young people are NOT turning out, nor are they reliable Dem voters. In 2024, only 57% of 18-34 voted. (76% over 65, 72% over 50. ) Midterms are worse: in 2022, only 28% of 18-34 voted. In 2016, young votes for Jill Stein installed Trump. 2000, young votes for Ralph Nader installed Bush.

My cats and I fought the mouse wars for years in a big, leaky old ND farmhouse. Not to spoil Lily's fun, but this is the one you need. Buy 6 or 8, they're cheap. Bait with peanut butter, put under sinks, behind stove, anywhere you see Lily staring at the baseboard! It's a war of attrition.

As late as 2011, North Dalota had two (excellent) Dem senators, Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad-and their lone Congressman was Democrat Earl Pomeroy. They elected a Democratic WOMAN Senator, Heidi Heitkamp, in 2012. 13 years ago. ( my Mom, 95, campaigning for Heitkamp in 2018)
