The darkest area goes over Iceland, west of Ireland and over Spain.

#52maps week 29 - Correlation: The map on the left shows the locations of traffic accidents in Belgium. The map on the right shows the locations of friteries/fritkoten according to OpenStreetMap. Both maps are clearly very similar. More info about #52maps can be found on 52maps.org

Since both maps are essentially busy-places-maps, there is of course no correlation between friteries and traffic accidents.

Most people in Belgium with the last name Stuyts live in Antwerpen, Zoersel, Essen en Schoten.

#52maps week 25 - Contrast: 10 years ago I made a "tile map" of Belgian provinces. This #52maps map shows a province in black if its capital has the same name as the province and in white if it hasn't. More info about #52maps can be found on 52maps.org // toot.community/@52maps
