Found the Tower Hotel menus from 1973 - this is when Wapping, immediately and visibly to its right as you sat in the hotel was derelict and in decay. I wonder if they just slanted the tables slightly to the left
Amid the gloom of closures, I love this picture of the 'Sector Six Scatterbrains' - dockers from the London and St K Docks who performed for old dockers at the Christmas night out in 1968. Source The Port Newspaper.
Last day at the London Dock - piper pipes the men out the gate for the last time. Old chap with broom handle on the left doing the baton.
Obviously I am supposed to be doing deadline stuff, but Three Years (3) I have been after this and it is incredible. Just incredible. If anyone knows any of the Exit photography group, I would be indebted....
