Staff also led a “practice at the polls” activity that simulated casting a ballot in a real election to help give attendees an understanding of what to expect.

The presentation focused on how to register to vote, how to check your voter status, ways to vote, important election dates, and how to view a sample ballot.

Yesterday, MDOS staff members attended the Samaritas 21st Annual Michigan Teen Conference at Saginaw Valley State University. While there, they conducted a voter education presentation for youth from across Michigan.
