In the morning the package was again missing, but far easier to find this time. Despite Sutti's giving me The Look, I said "mine!" and reclaimed said package. (I did give her breakfast which maybe made up for it.)

I turned and looked at her. She stared back with her deep deep eyes. Flipping up the mesh "door" I could see, amidst all the old shirts, my package. I retrieved it, gave Sutti a look, put it on the dining table, and went to bed.

15 mins later, crawling under the dining table, I glanced over to Sutti's "den" (soft crate) & saw this (excuse the terrible picture. I was laughing). She has dragged P's old t-shirts in there. (Sutti hides here when annoyed with me for heartlessly brushing her & forms of abuse).

I turned 59 a couple days ago, though mostly celebrated yesterday. However, on my birthday, after a day of being out and tired, I got home at 9 pm and found that yet again P managed to get my gift to me *on* my actual birthday! (1/?)

Full day of travel! Woke at the Hilton Stockton on Tees. Driven to Newcastle. Train to Kings Cross. Cab to to Paddington. Heathrow Express to Heathrow T4. Tonight: Hilton Garden T4 - has an excellent garden for Sutti. Last sleep in England! Back in LA by Tuesday night!
