Screw-posting fountain pens, L to R, two Majohn Delike brass, first with polished barrell, with FPR Ultraflex, Kaweco Liliput, vintage gold Sheaffer's #33, Delike Brass, two Wancais with FPR Ultraflex. All are pocket pens except large Delike.
Platinum's Carbon ink is highly water resistant, and I watercolor over it all the time. Also, there is deAtramentis Document ink. Fountain pens using these inks should be cleaned slightly more often than with regular dye inks.
Your wonderful Wancai pocket pen is an eyedropper, so keep it full on cool days or when changing altitude. Air expands from hand warming and causes dribbling. No air, no dribbling. My two have Fountain Pen Revolution #5 Ultraflex nibs swapped in. Nib/feed just pulls straight out. Friction fit.
Here are two easy fountain pen modifications and the tools used. L: Black brass pen, knurls polished off with blue wheel. R: Demonstrator frosted with red wheel. Strips of masking tape protect certain areas. Accidents happen -- learn on cheap pens. Always wear eye and breathing protection!
