Pyrénées dweller; brexiled, guest house operator and occasional cyclist. Hates building hot tubs but it's too late to stop now.
I've just had a quick look at personal polling. Here's the latest results. Ranging from minus 11 to +12 and all points in between. Of course, that's over a longish period of time. A week to be exact, 20-27 July. I'm starting to wonder if these polls have any value 🤔
It's a Tory tax - so naturally it's designed to be regressive. Introduced by Heath and only ever increased under Tory governments, by Tory chancellors. Labour should make it progressive. It really doesn't matter how.
This is the closest I could find. All the nearest ones seem to do rainfall not temp.
I love a Michelin map, especially the Blue 1/25000 ones. Here's my lounge wall decoration - Tourmalet roughly dead centre of this 6 sheet collage.
It would appear you're right although I was delighted to discover that Barack Obama was the exception that proved the rule in Cameron's last cabinet.
I was feeling a bit bone idle when I started replying John so I CBA to Google her appointments. However when someone on here I respect as much as you deigns to reply... Here's a photo of her first cabinet. Informative no?
There was one on the estate where I grew up but I can't ever remember it moved although I was probably in bed asleep by the time they left the house and went partying. As for the one on the right - it's Tour de France caravan heaven!
I've seen a few posts describing the loss of dignity for the UK for hosting the orange idiot. And then I saw this photo of the king and 'queen'. We did it to ourselves. Let's just get rid of the miserable, entitled, useless fuckers.
This parrot certainly is. It would take much more than 4 years for any of these twats to learn Spanish.
Have you seen Rimski & Handkerchief? Performance artists featuring a piano bike and a double bassicle(!)
Just looked at the run-in for Stage 4 #TDF2025. Are they trying to kill all the sprinters before we get to the Champs-Elysées?
I think it's time for a clever person to come up with a review to rival this evergreen one for Pride and Prejudice
This is a genuine goosebump museum visit. I couldn't tear myself from this room until the last possible moment.
Has anybody heard from Tim Stanley this evening? I'm getting worried about him.
Those three pints seem to have gone straight to your typing finger! I enjoyed the game up at the cabane with Yves, Joël et Raymond.
Saucisson drying in a barn in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Very few food miles involved in these beauties! #PyreneesCyclingCentre 🍜
