Comms exec. Pro-am photographer. Ex-Calvin Klein underwear model. Hey, two out of three ain’t bad. (He/Him)
Out for a (humid) 30mi bike ride today. Stopped at a kid’s lemonade stand — because you always stop for a kid’s lemonade stand and you always overpay. He was out of lemonade, but still had lemons. Lemon basil pasta for dinner it is.
A quartet of frames from my new everyday walk around camera (24mm Zeiss on a Sony a6700). The man standing behind bars in the third frame is staring at a sign at an immigrant vigil that reads “Welcome to the U.S.”
Can't wait to see this exhibit. This quote by Mark says so much about seeing the world around us.
"The sea was angry that day, my friends—like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli!"
Mother Nature put on quite the light show tonight. #buckscounty #shotoniphone
Unwritten rule for my cycling community: No matter the ride, you do not pass a kid’s lemonade stand. That, plus you overpay.
Spent the evening enjoying the expert musicianship of The Bacon Brothers at The Princeton Festival. Kevin, well, you know him. His brother, Michael, is an Emmy-winning composer. *Yes, @sogrady.org there was a Tremors mention on stage. **Final encore song: Footloose.
Stopped to hydrate with a spicy mango margarita (which I now believe they should sell by the keg).
Attended out town’s pride festival this morning (where my Broadway friend was entertaining).
Missed Bruce in Philly, but caught him last night at Monmouth University playing with a few of his friends to kick off a two-night concert event - Music America: The Songs That Shaped Us - celebrating America's 250th birthday.
My fave shot of the night: Pennsylvania State Representative Tim Brennan presents Stage United founder Joe Montone with a $50,000 check to support this amazing and important live music and community program.
Got out last night to support a couple of indie bands at Doylestown’s Concerts at the Park series. Introduce your ears to Fat Mezz and Hay Sugar when you get a chance.
Spent some time yesterday capturing the U.S.'s fastest bike racers as they competed in the Easton Criterium. The men's and women's pro fields were stacked with national and Olympic champions.
I had a curious visitor while I was writing on the back patio this morning.
Vitamin Sea. Dolphinately a great day for the Jersey Shore. (Sea what I did there?)
Had the opportunity to see the new Delaware Reflecting River on my bike ride this afternoon.
Spent some time at a local working farm and rescue sanctuary helping to feed baby goats (as they nibbled every shoelace and shirttail), pigs, sheep, and a months-old cow. This is Einstein. He is as sweet as he is cute.
Caught a decent sunset last night on the way home from dinner. #buckscounty
Weather dropped a bit, putting me in a bit of a Bolognese mood. #SundayDinner
Because sometimes your college pledge brother (who has 11 albums under his belt) plays a gig near you. Tonight was a good night. Celebrate the good times. And support the fucking arts.
Morning: Coffee, a cacophony of chirping birds, and a cautiously approaching squirrel.
