I didn’t video the part with the spirits of Renee and Alex dancing, I was just kind of stunned with wonder and grief, but this part made me cry too.
We showed up for our neighbors to protect the from ICE and we showed up today to say no kings. Thanks to all the organizers who made #NoKings possible. I even got to see live sign making, def a first for me.

Ended up on the block tonight where Alex Pretti lived. Pretty much every home had his portrait in a window. I’ll never forget what they did to him. I’ll never forget how good we’ve been to each other.

Target still lets ICE roam free in their stores & stage in their parking lots, often this one at the Quarry in Mpls. But they call the police in no time on peaceful teachers and neighbors. Until Target calls for ICE to leave MN and congress to cut off DHS funding, we’ll keep coming back. #ICEOut

Target called the police on peaceful Minnesotans today, telling us we were on private property. But when ICE comes to brutalize and abduct people in their stores, Target says it’s public space and can’t stop it. Target needs to decide - do they stand with Minnesotans, or masked abductors? #ICEOut
