Vibes around the World Cup fan fest at Brooklyn bridge park are really fun. Didn’t get tickets but went up on the bridge for a (admittedly mediocre) view of the pregame festivities. Relatedly, people who thought it was a good idea to try and go for a run on the bridge this morning are insane.
Solidarity with my former New Economy Project colleagues who have unionized with the UAW. The union is only active on Instagram but give them a follow over there.
The AP calling this 10 minutes after polls close is so rich. See you never Dan Goldman.
Vote today! Text all your people and make sure they vote! Don’t let a combination of bad weather, post-Zohran-election complacency, and Knicks fever give the conservative and reactionary forces of this city a chance to deliver more obstacles to a city we can afford.
Extremely blessed to work right on the parade route. I love this City.
I made it to my Broadway office by a small miracle after getting completely trapped in battery park for the better part of an hour and I got in at like 7:30.
Jose Alvarado out here leading the Bushwick Puerto Rican Parade. I love this city so much.
The Knicks are not the Yankees and, in fact, rooting against them right now is akin to rooting against the 2004 Red Sox.
Ok that makes sense. Best I’ve done was this at 80-2 which made me question the entire analytical formula of the game.
It’s truly been a privilege getting to support the incredible mechanics at Bike Plant on their journey to become worker-owners. Thanks to News 12 Brooklyn for profiling this worker co-op conversion (and look ma, I’m on the TV!)
10/10 press coverage from the Brooklyn Eagle. Hang it in the Louvre.
This was rad as hell! Thank you to everyone who came out to support this worker co-op transition incl @chiosse.bsky.social @jabaribrisport.bsky.social NYC SBS, NYC NoWC, and more Long live worker co-ops!
Tomorrow. 10am. Bed Stuy. Come celebrate Bike Plant’s transition to worker ownership. Feat special guests @jabaribrisport.bsky.social and @chiosse.bsky.social I love this shop and this crew and it’s been a privilege to help them become a co-op.
@jessemyerson.bsky.social’s 3 year old watching Bernie: “is he grumpy?”
The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point, of mazzullaball however, is to change it.
