I noticed mostly what kids want is to know that they've got the tools they need to survive- how to pay taxes, save for a house. Take care of themselves. Truly, they just want choice. Agency. That's super fucking valid, and I totally relate. Considering doing 2 minute Mom vids, just as a gift. 4

TL/DR: personal reflection/what recharges you? (1/6) Been spending time reflecting, working, playing an *actually* relaxing game(LOLZ, My Leisure Time hits all my dopamine stimuli reqs) journaling and embracing the concept of unicorn time- which in my case involves some sort of personal learning.
Silly girl has finally caught her first mouse at 2 am last night. Stripey was tearing through the house as I realized (half asleep and in the dark) her toy was moving a little *too* fast for it to be batted away... She's so stinking proud of herself. #catTax
Randomly hosted tea. Because why the hell not. Every piece here has a story, from Grammas tea service from her wedding, to teacups gifted by beloved friends. What an amazing image of storytelling.

Updates from this week: The thingamie resolved with minimal harm to the fam, Tweenie Bat is in a WAY more educated position to be an effective ally. Apparently I needed to ban discussions of existentialism after 8:30 pm. I am now counting my "nos" as trophies. Stripeybutt is still weird.
