Ok ok I know I’ve been AWFUL about posting anything I’ve done for artfight. But. I’m so proud of this little guy I did for @onyxxart.bsky.social of their ADORABLE character, Ghost Boi! It took a lot of trial and error, and scrapping and redoing to get to a point where he(mostly) moves, but. worth ☝️

The piece is in red pen, and the individual has two large fangs and many horns along the head. A few messy lines indicate the maw, scales, and a nostril. The dragon person is shrugging helplessly with an almost troubled look in his eye, as if at a loss for why he looks the way he does. The artist wishes she knew, too.

Not my usual “art”, but since I’ve been struggling so much lately I thought I’d share this silly project anyway. Made some goofy Kandi bracelets as stocking stuffers for Christmas- most are references to media or roles around the holiday(ie “elf escort” was for hiding our elf on the shelf), etc. 😂

Of course we start with a Delf dump 💪 Ignore how different they all look, they’re from 3 diff years and 1 to purge art block LOL First one says “Hey little buddy, you’re my friend; together we were ‘til the very end” in Elvish- a lyric from her eulogy for Byron(inspired by a song he’d sang for Jr.)

A bust up sketch of the same half elf as before, but with shorter hair cut more roughly. She appears shocked and alert, and wears a sleeveless turtleneck undershirt with breastplate over the top. Her shoulders are exposed however, revealing a plethora of scars. She has a singular delicate crescent moon earring on her left ear.

More prominent is the dark-shaded heart drawn in her chest, abstractly silhouetting two figures touching foreheads- presumably herself and another. The first, in plain text reads: “Softly, your soul clings unto mine

The second, weaving out like it’s unraveling from the half-elf’s very core, reads: “There’s a hole in my heart bleeding me dry of all the things I wish I’d said to you”

Final image of the same half elf, her hair cut even shorter than before, almost to her ears. She looks beaten up and bloody, with several cuts on her face and shoulders. Her expression is deeply emotional, and there are tears in her eyes and a conflicted, but desperate smile on her reddened face. She has a speech line that reads “I can’t believe it’s you…” It’s unclear if she is perceiving reality or some sort of illusion.

Delphina, my blorbo ever,,, Baby's first dnd pc, started with just a vague concept of a shy socially clueless ranger from a tribe in the mountains and now after 1 full campaign going on 2, have THE most traumatized socially distant + depressed girlfailure cleranger in existence 💞 Needs therapy BAD

A reference sheet of Delphina, showing two of her outfits as well as her main weapon of choice. Delphina is a short half-elf, standing around 5 feet with unkempt messily cut blonde hair that comes to about her shoulders. Her first outfit consists of red and gold armor and a battle skirt to match, well kept, with a black undershirt and pants underneath. She has a very raggedy torn up green sash around her waist that clashes with the outfit, but given the evident age and wear of the item, it likely has some personal significance. She wears black gloves and brown winged boots as well.

Her second outfit consists of a long royal purple-blue overcoat, possessing red inner lining, with a black vest underneath. Grey patterned pants complete the outfit, with knee-length black boots for footwear.
Between both outfits, a small handful of various scars are visible, though she seems to do her best to select clothes that conceal as much skin as possible.

Her sword is a golden magical greatsword that appears to be called "Spirit of Thorson", adorned at the handle with a few small gems and the imagery of feathers.

Another image of Delphina, against a pale blue-grey swirled background. She wears a different outfit this time, and appears a few years younger, wearing a sad and uncertain expression. Her hair is shorter, cropped around mid-neck length, where she wears a delicate silver and jade necklace as well.

The outfit she wears here shows more skin, unfettered by the scars seen in the previous image. The primary color of her armor remains red, but is highlighted with silvers rather than golds.

Another image depicting Delphina in formal attire, against a bright and colorful background. It seems likely once more she's in attendance of some sort of party... Though, the dress she wears is similar in style to the last, it seems important to note that it is a distinctly different garment. Still the body is primarily red, with a ruffled hem to the bust and silvery translucent sleeves. It ties down with silver threads in the front of the bodice. She wears the jade pendant as well. This seems to be a moment of great importance and awe for her, as she stares, transfixed by something that cannot be seen, a blush tinting her cheeks and a distinct sparkle in her eyes.

This was the moment that would be her undoing, though she did not yet know it. This was the moment that, after all of this time, she finally started to put it together. This was the moment that she began to realize...

She was falling in love.
