this is called a dwarf zz plant. we've had it a few years and it's never done much until this asparagus thing suddenly popped up and unfurled in the middle #houseplants #plantsky

She was tough as nails. She had some close calls over the years, but she always turned out just fine. She wouldn't play with much of anything except a piece of string, although sometimes she would carry a toy in her mouth and drag it all over the house, yelling at us. We could never figure out why.
