I've long argued that one of the biggest problems with the Democratic Party (in which I've been registered since my 18th birthday) is its assumption that voters can connect the dots. They pass great laws & assume low info voters can see how great they are. We cannot afford to make this mistake again

I just got polled. So many of the questions made me aggravated, both as a Democrat and as a social scientist.
This is the bad place. Can AI expedite matching diagnosis and procedure codes to more speedily approve prescribed care? Sure. But it’s at a price, with the possibility of erroneous denials that my book Coverage Denied shows are immensely burdensome to appeal, driving inequities.
I was never a Platner fan, and determined following the revelation of the Nazi tattoo that I would not donate a cent to the Maine Senate race if Platner was the nominee. And as someone who has experienced this kind of thing (and worse) firsthand, I’m not so quietly judging those who stand by him.
