Open your mind and your heart may follow. #RefugeesWelcome #TransRightsAreHumanRights Profile picture: my good friend Maggie - a cute black and white dog with a caramel patch. Banner picture: shows the difference between equality, equity and inclusion.
When everyone started talking about a parasite, in the US, linked to lettuce, I assumed they were talking about Liz Truss. She did for our economy what the bug does to people's digestive systems. A chunk of my pension got flushed down the toilet and the UK still hasn't recovered.
It was this photo, I think, that gathered so much attention around Michelle Mone, ripping off the UK with her dodgy VIP Lane PPE.
I don't know, uber-rich people do like to show off their wealth. Photos of that villa in Spain, that yacht or supercar could be the heads-up that starts a HMRC investigation. If, of course, HMRC were actually interested...
I'm just trying to be helpful but you seem to have an issue with that. You don't want to save money by turning your boiler down, so don't do it. Why would I care?
This is a ten minute walk from my house. Just the entrance to our local hall and public parkland. Then again, the Victorians were serious people.
As Reform are receiving lots of money from fossil fuel owners, this shouldn't be allowed. It's a direct conflict of interest. Any Reform councillors should have to recuse themselves whenever matters of climate change, green initiatives or net zero are discussed.
Borrowing a dog might help. We've been walking this little girl for 8 years. One of the best things I have ever done. All the affection but less of the responsibility and cost. It's a win win win for the owners, the dog and me! I did it via BorrowMyDoggy.com
Libraries in the UK tend to have very limited opening hours due to them being defunded and now largely staffed by volunteers. This is my town centre library. The hottest time tends to be around 5pm. Right now it's 30 degrees C and the library is about to shut
Quite a lot more papers left on the bus, this afternoon, than usual. Hopefully that's a good sign.
Glossy wrap around the Wigan Metro again this morning. Now in the bin. Colleague says they were queuing out the door when she voted. Said the only other time she'd seen that was for the Referendum. 😬 She was intercepted by Reform wanting to know how she was going to vote. She refused to tell them.
When Reform"s treasurer, Nick Candy, sold his home, it was the most expensive house in London. Reform are taking the UK's working class for absolute mugs... but many voters just don't seem to care. They lap up all the obvious lies and BS as if it's reality. It's like they've been hypnotised.
Blatant bollocks from bad faith media. Dishonest news channels need shutting down and a code of strict journalistic standards needs to be enforced.
It also reflects a media that is totally out of control. Labour hasn't helped themselves, of course, by failing to implement Leveson's recommendations or regulate social media for all.
It's because bad faith media is saying otherwise. Even the Times is doing it. Labour have ignored Lord Leveson's recommendations and calls for greater media and social media regulation at great cost to society and their own ability to govern it.
Here it is: the Times deliberately spreading BS far right talking points and using them to explain away the riots.
Ranked 17th... at the moment. The thing about developing countries is they're improving. The US is heading in the wrong direction. A couple of decades ago, the US had eradicated measles. It didn't come back by magic.
Mind you, that was my third attempt. Here was my first one. 😂
Time to wheel out the Allister Heath Telegraph headline generator! Well I never! Hopefully, there is truth in jest.
