It’s a phenomenon i don’t much care for— witnessing his suffering without the ability to act on it. But goddamn it i cannot help but admire him. Even in his sorrow, he carries himself with honor & grace. I know his parents are proud. Happy 41st birthday my love. You are cherished beyond measure🫀💫
Francis’s birthdays are kinda tricky— Sometimes it’s hard to believe he is actually human, bc he is bursting with love & light at all times. But on his birthday each year, his very human grief from the loss of his parents finds him. I watch him struggle with those feelings without being able to help

Last year during his Dead 60 performance i had the thought that he finally had all the success he could ever want, but he had to lose his mom to get it. Sometimes the cost of our dreams is more than we account for. Seems like sacrifice weighs heavy on him. ❤️🩹
