It’s ok. A camera is more sensitive to color than the eye. While the aurora DOES appear white-ish to the naked eye sometimes, the camera never picks it up that way. The photo below looked misty white to my eyes, but see how the camera captured it.

She left us 6 years ago today, at 6 years old. Lymphoma. I cried for 2 years (still do, at times). Her little sister also grieved for about a year. I think of her everytime I see Sirius in the sky… she loved winter and snow. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Take as much time as you need to grieve.
This is my favorite Lake Superior beach. It’s pretty rural though - on the eastern side of the Keweenaw, down several dirt roads.

I hope this makes her smile, even if briefly. Sophie decided to chew up an ink pen because she got jealous of the cat having too much fun batting it around in the kitchen. This was pre-2020, before she got lymphoma. I miss her dearly, but love the memories.

I highly recommend that everyone who owns a vehicle get and install a decent dash cam (and rear dash cam). Protecting yourself and others through video surveillance in your vehicle has never been more crucial. This goes for your home as well.
