I want life - all life - to go on.
The famous hockey stick graph. This isn't all that hard to fix. EVs work great. Solar power is now the cheapest way of generating electricity. Batteries can store power for use when the wind isn't blowing and the sun isn't shining.
What the actual cost? And this is just so far! No more wars for oil, let's quickly transition to clean energy
Money is flying out of our pockets - and who is getting richer? Billionaires and Trumpm and his family.
Extrajudicial executions, extreme cruelty, the heartbreaking sight of a detained little boy. Do you know right from wrong? Do you want to live in a democracy? We have no choice but to defend, with the power of nonviolence, what we love.
The rest of life needs the places where we grow feed for meat animals.
Another war for oil. Is that what you want? We don't need it anymore. It destroys the climate. If you have the means, go solar, get a heat pump, and buy an EV. Whatever your income, make sure your elected officials know that we have to kick this stupid fossil fuel habit.
Companies that make billions for greedy sociopathic CEOs can't be bothered paying living wages to workers. The result? These companies are, in effect, subsidized by taxpayers. It is our moral obligation to feed the hungry. It is their moral obligation not to pay starvation wages.
When people don't have healthcare, sometimes they die. When this is because they can't afford, that is something close to evil.
After extended starvation, intense medical intervention is needed. www.newyorker.com/news/the-led...
Restoring ecosystems with key species can drawdown enormous amounts of carbon. Check the numbers on whales. Bring nature back.
Coral reefs are unique and diverse ecosystems. People need them as wave breaks and sources of food. 25% of oceanic fish get their start in coral-reef nurseries.
What he said. He accomplishes much or most of what he sets out to do. If he says he wants to be a dictator, believe him.
Your reminder that the Jan. 6 traitors who assaulted police were pardoned, while the sandwich-throwing lawyer has been charged with a felony.
Thanks to all who've been out there speaking out peacefully. Please join us if you can.
If you can, keep going. The killings by viscious militants on October 7 were brutal. The cold brutality of two years of both heedless and, in some cases, cold-bloodedly deliberate targeting of the innocent is at a scale that makes one gasp.
