My understanding is that an officer was driving through the area when he saw a large dog attacking a woman and her dog. The officer had to discharge his weapon multiple times before the dog stopped. This was the other dog at the site of the attack. Animal Control took it away.

At least one officer discharged their firearm at a dog on West Franklin Street. The dog does not appear to be alive.

Officers could be seen talking to people in wet clothing at the site of the shooting. They were gathered by the water at the same place where first responders had to rescue a woman from rushing waters last year.

A group of children watched as Northeastern District detectives investigated the shooting. One of them said they had seen a weapon, but was told that it was a toy.

Over in the 1000 block and 1100 block of East Lombard Street, where police had a shooting just a little over two weeks ago, is where the crime lab technician whipped out her numerical evidence markers. If I lived in Jonestown, I would want to know about this pattern.

Look at this video. There's only one alphabetical evidence marker for a pile of clothing. Crime lab technicians use alphabetical markers for regular evidence and numerical markers for cartridge casings because those numbers go up pretty high, and sometimes there can be many casings.

The information available to the public mentions where the gunshot victim was found, but leaves out where the gunshot victim was shot. The only location reference is the 300 block of South Central Avenue. But that's not where the shooting happened.

Eastern District detectives are investigating a shooting at a corner store on East Preston Street. My understanding is that two people are injured and the crime scene includes the store.

Northeastern District detectives are searching for evidence on Harford Road following a shooting that has injured at least one person.

Lassane was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Baltimore Police Department's helicopter crew was conducting a LoJack exercise on the east side of town when police spotted the suspect car. (A LoJack box is a small transceiver unit that helps police recover stolen cars.)

Officers surround Darius Lassane, 23, after he fled from them in a car involved in a burglary earlier in the day. Lassane rammed a patrol car and damaged a parked car before driving into a house in the 3500 block of Brendan Avenue around noon, according to authorities.
