I am a caffienated lifeform. Still. ;)
Realized new phone did not have one single dog picture on it yet. Fixed that right away!
The inauguration of Brianna's Diner Mug Club has gone great. This ended up a bit more gramma-core than I had originally planned but I think it's going to be cool.
One of the kids that was in the Youth Group with my kids brought me a lilac bush and an awesomely n thorny variety of lemon tree as a gift. It was incredibly thoughtful.
This is Loki, the All-Chewer, Death of Squeaky-things, Lord of All That is Under. He has the mischief and mayhem handled.
Curse you tiny teaset! ;) Working on a Red Willow pattern teaset for my granddaughter's xmas. In between the pagodas and willows you'll find Nessie, and Gamaikichi, and an alien abducting livestock and others. I need to decide what to hide on the rest of the set. Dogman?
I am wondering how many of these our staff are going to buy these before they even hit the shelf (on top of the one I bought). ;)
Day 2 of glass blowing classes at Stuffington's! Yesterday went amazing, and this one is starting well. This is one of the aqua-globes I made yesterday, giving a thirsty plant a drink.
We're learning how to do glass blowing here at Stuffington's today! Christmas ornaments and plant watering globes are in progress and they look gorgeous!
I'm more informed about the state of the world than I can handle and still stay functional this morning, so here's a pic of Loki's vibes.
Allow me to bless your timeline with our newest member of the family here at the shop with us. Here's Quorra, ready to provide customer service:
We had a Paint With Puppies event, where a rescue came in and brought dogs to get loved on while people painted doggy ceramics. It was a great success in the way you'd expect. But also now Aila and Fire have a new dog. Everyone, meet Quorra:
This is my little furry miscreant's current position, complete with old-man snore. ;)
The danger of having extroverted friends. I'm way out of my natural habitat. Funko Field, Everett Aquasocks vs. Eugene Emeralds. I will say these are awesome seats.
Got the example i made during our chip class out of the kiln. Not all the ideas worked, but all in all I like it.
These all came out of the same load. I love how our clientele can take the same piece of bisqueware and the same basic color scheme and each person show their own unique, creative style.
This turned out stunning. It's supposed to match a character in one of the painter's favorite books. I hope it matches her imagining.
This is creativity. This started out as a basketball piggy-bank. But a bunch of hard work turned it into an awesome moon, complete with Tycho Crater and its rays.
Took this at the bus stop with my granddaughter this morning. This is one of those mornings that make it worth putting up with all the gray.
I told Aila these were so cute they were going to hit the shelves and just bounce right out they were going to sell so fast and I was right. We put four out last night, and the last sold by noon today.
Awkward triple entendre clues, badly butchered French, and convoluted, pun-laden accusations abound and everyone is painting and eating chocolate. We're having way too much fun at our Death By Chocolate night. :)
