Initial impression was that someone had accidentally dropped a lime into my beer. It works in a weird way. This has quite a bitter finish.
Friday night beer Superflux - Strawberry Moo Cow IPA 6.5% Lovely IPA with just a hint of strawberries and cream
Back to the ribs after the England match New Slang Mango - Dageraad Brewing 7% Lots of mango but still very much an IPA.
May as well finish up with a stronger one. Container Brewing - Destination Australia 9.2% hazy triple Boozy smell but is a nice stone fruit forward IPA
Having a birthday beer This Hoyne Brewing Double Helix IPA at 8% is a treat. Way more malt than regular North American brews. Bit of orange marmalade taste.
Tonight’s beer Superflux - Raingod IPA. 6.7% These guys are leaders in local IPAs. This one is hazy with upfront orange and grapefruit finish. Chewy too if you know what I mean.
Really nice P.O.G IPA to end the evening. 7% from Storm Brewing. Very like the Maui Brewing one. Nicely done.
Lots of booziness in this one. Loads of lime and some stone fruit. Field House Brewing 8.5%
