The Pry Mincer’s about to put on a Eusa show in Bexhill! #endofdays #riddleywalker
Went to see ‘Arcadia’ tonight. Have never seen it before. It’s such a clever, well constructed play. All the actors were good, but really the writing is what catches your breath. And exercises the brain!
This Devon holiday let has all the popular thriller paperbacks you might ever need!
For a book to move me to tears it has to be pretty good. Question Seven is pretty good. #books #amreading
Promoting your film by talking about the cameras is a very ‘prog’ move I think. It reminds me of 70s bands that insisted on telling you about their speakers, their synths, their cymbals etc. Or maybe akin to Dire Straits being sponsored by the Philips CD division.
Am very taken with @chrissutton1973.bsky.social’s Mr Sugden of Kes comparison with Ronaldo. 😂 #worldcup #soccer #football #portugal
BBC News has gone way overboard with the earthquake porn. A notable example of how news events with lots of clickbait video get way more coverage than those that are just… er… news.

Went back to the triphop 90s last night with The Herbaliser Band… but without the drugs.
Still basking in the memory of Spencer Cullum and friends playing at the Moth Club last night. Such a lovely vibe.
Cowboy Junkies play Canadian delta blues cover of a Velvet Underground song in Sussex seaside venue. #niche
‘I don’t give a fuck’. Dry Cleaning in Brixton last night were very… 80s post punk. In a good way.
RIP ‘difficult’ poet J H Prynne. When he taught me (back in the Stone Age) he always wore the same attire with signature orange tie. He told me his wife always bought him a new one for Xmas. ‘Do you wear it every day?’ I asked. ‘Every day except at funerals,’ he replied.
Also holder of the second greatest comb-over UK television has ever seen. The first is…?
New experience last night. Marlon Williams singing in Māori. Delightful. Faint echoes of Elvis?
