Sinon tells the Trojans that the Horse was built to be too large for them to take it into their city and gain the favor of Athena for themselves.

I personally enjoyed this book. I read it in 1995 when I was 11 and I've always remembered this one.
I liked the premise of the creature and how it behaves and kills. The characters and locations are highly described, even if the characters ARE a little hard to believe. It is an erotic horror book, but more erotic than scary.
I see a lot of reviewers on here calling this novel pro-pedophilia. If that's all you focused on, then I think you may have some deep rooted issues of your own.
It's a pretty thick book and the part being referenced by these people is 4 or 5 pages. He isn't promoting or sympathizing with pedophilia! It was being described from the perspective of the youth who didn't understand it as wrong. Even as an adult, she doesn't think it was bad because she's pretty messed up herself do to her past. She describes the jury as sympathizing with the accused, but she is fiveland is most likely mistaking their tears over reeling sorry for how messed up she is for sympathizing with the pedophile. Yes, it's VERY descriptive of the encounter because she is telling an interviewer EXACTLY what happened and with excitement because she didn't think anything that happened was wrong.
Judge it for yourself. If you liked other books by this author, you will probably enjoy this one. I have read only this piece of his work but liked it and am currently re-reading it now.
