Charlie Kirk had called for the full release of the Epstein files several days ago, and then suddenly ends up dead by a single shot made from 200 yards away. This is way too clean to be domestic terrorism. The fact that the shooter hasn't been caught yet, and already the left is getting blamed is more suspicious. This seems like he was putting too much pressure on the Epstein issue and was silenced because of it.

Were you surprised at the rhetoric in this race?
Disappointed but not surprised. I mean, Bill Ackman has declared war on DEI, which is also known as civil rights. And the fact that he invested, I guess ultimately, $500,000 against Zohran. Or DoorDash. I sponsored the law that made New York City the first place in the country to guarantee a living wage for deliveristas. So it didn't surprise me that DoorDash would take a million dollars and, instead of paying their workers what they're worth, would try to buy a mayor's election in order to undo the law that guarantees them a living wage. That is a billionaire form of politics we see over and over again. I was not surprised by it. I was delighted that we were able to beat it.

What are people supposed to do when they're not sure if an officer is legitimate?
That question highlights the box that these tactics put Americans into. When they are not sure, the inclination is to resist, and that resistance is used to justify a greater use of force by the officers, and it creates this cycle that is harmful to people just trying to mind their business. And that can mean that these individuals are not just subject to use of force and very aggressive arrests on civil charges, but they could also face more serious criminal charges. The more illegitimate police act, the more resistance to their activities will result.
And if the public doesn't trust officers, it becomes very difficult for them to do their jobs.

Well the protest that I was going to go to starts in 30 minutes. I have been planning on going to this for 2 weeks. But the 2 people who would normally go with me couldn't go today, so if I go, I have to go by myself. Which would be fine, except I'm having trouble with my leg & foot lately, have to walk with a cane (on & off), can't stand for more than 5 minutes at a time, and don't have a handicap tag to make it slightly easier on me. Even though the protest will most likely be peaceful, I still am so worried about
my leg giving out while I'm out there, or having a panic attack while I'm out there (l've got major social anxiety), or even just getting too hot (prone to heat stroke). All of these fears would've been alleviated if I wasn't going alone, because I would at least be with someone who knows me and we could watch
each others backs. So TLDR: I am devastated that I didn't get to go today. I feel like a total failure. I'm so sorry that I let everyone down (everyone who I was marching for). All I can do is hope that I can contribute enough to the cause in some other way that I still might be useful. And if I can get someone else to go with me, I will be at future protests too! I promise!
