Decided to finally get a Switch 2. Got Pokopia and Moonlight Peaks and they are both great games thus far.

Progress on the latest project, the Leith cardigan by Rebecca Clow. This is the bottom of the back of the cardigan - getting ready to start another green stripe row. This is a really potato-chippy knit due to the stripes. #knitsky

Monday. Lost a team member last week so I’m taking over his projects, including one scheduled for a cutover in the next couple of weeks, so I’m playing catchup & trying to figure out what needs to be done. Just going to put in some NIN this morning & do the damn things.

Today’s project: finish getting my west coast trip booked. I’m expecting some big announcements at BlizzCon. Really, really hoping they announce WoW Classic+… and the rumors flying around about possible new tv shows and new games are intriguing. 🧐

My Bogg Bag arrived and its so big I can nearly fit inside. It’s PERFECT for what I’m using it for. Sooo… anybody want to hang out while I learn how to ply yarn on my e-spinner on-stream? Either later tonight or tomorrow? I can promise that mistakes will be made. #knitting #spinning

It’s Friday! It’s a holiday but I’m working due to a major migration this weekend, the culmination of a 2-year project. I do have some fun things planned if all goes well tho. You’re beautiful. Go be your most sparkly self and do the things that bring you joy this weekend. 💕

International Knit in Public Day canceled due to extreme heat, so instead we’re going to go see Masters of the Universe and play a new board game. 😍

Y’all. This limited edition colorway Sycorax (yes from The Tempest) yarn in a yak/silk/merino blend is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. Plus there was a sticker! And bookplates! This was so worth the wait! Ex Libris Fibers is my new favorite. ❤️

Out getting the evening walk in. It’s that time of year where I have to walk either super early or super late after the sun goes down or else I’ll fry. 🔥 Saw a pretty deer in the wetlands too. 🦌

And to catch you up - lately I’ve been running a book club at one of the local breweries. Last night somebody brought the all the books we’ve read over the past few months, so I had to get a pic with our favorite strawberry-rhubarb shandy. Also I looked cute. 😆

This is gross. A CRAFTING SUPPLY company using AI and bragging about it - when their customers are primarily handcrafters that place importance on originality, creativity and real, human-made items - is completely tone deaf. They are dead to me.

Happy Wednesday! Lots of chaos happening today, but I did manage to start a new project using yarn that I bought at Rhinebeck last year. Here’s a sneak peek. What ever shall it be? 😉

Finally back to civilization. This camp was wild. It rained, and rained some more, and then rained harder. We were cold, wet, & sleep-deprived. We also didn’t kill each other, so mission successful! My little tent doesn’t look like much but that inside layer stayed dry and bug-free. Total win.

Drove down to my favorite book/yarn/game store to get camping supplies. Yes, yarn and a book are a must if you’re going to spend a weekend in the woods with no internet. The yarn will become fingerless gloves and the book sounded intriguing. The two matching was a happy accident. 😍

Life got wild. That’s all I can say. Knitting tax. A little over half a Musselburg hat made out of Malabrigo Dos Tierras in Aniversario and Teal Feather. Hope to finish it up possibly this weekend while camping.

Jasper is our newest addition. Nobody else wanted him because he “looked sad”, but he is the sweetest, cuddliest little guy. Big hugs my friend, you’ve been going through one of the most difficult experiences we can have as human beings. Take your time to process, grief is not over quickly, if ever.

Most of the killed-off NPCs in Darkshore. I still think about Gwynneth Bly’leggonde for no real reason. Also Astarii Starseeker from the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus.
