Okay the manga is clearer Krillin doesn't shut down 18 because he has a crush, but there's also a legitimate moral debate there on if it's okay to sacrifice someone (against her will) for the sake of the world, and I'm glad they don't openly resolve it with a 'correct' answer.
Okay, it's a bit understated in the manga, but I like the way Chi-Chi comforts Trunks by saying "But Goku would have died if you hadn't come, right? So I'm glad you came, even if it changed things."
Like he uses FGO as an excuse to publish the entire essays he's made about his OCs' personalities. I feel like this kind of characterisation hits harder when everyone gets a specific day in the limelight rather than a big ensemble where each person is there for a specific kind of gag.
