The wildfire smoke is hitting our area pretty hard now. So last night I put together this homemade air purifier. 💪 😷 I happened to have these extra filters cause I bought the wrong size for our furnace, but with a little cardboard and lots of tape they have found a purpose 🪚

A homemade air purifier “corsi rosenthal box”. It has a base made of four furnace filters and a standard box fan on top.

I had a heat wave big brain moment today when I put my lunchbox’s freezer packs in a tote bag to hang on my car driver’s seat. Sharing for anybody else to use to embiggen their brains.

y'all, I got this Crimson Diamond game in the steam sale, and I only played a few minutes so far and it's like being wrapped up in a warm blanket and having your hair braided, I tell you what.

I tend to get dry skin and hair. When my chin feels dry and itchy, I’ve found that using this cowash instead of cleanser (or after cleanser if I’m feeling oily skin). When my beard hairs are dry and scratchy (or just recently trimmed), I have a thin beard oil that rub on there.

Made a nice homemade pop tart using frozen puff pastry and jar of pie filling. These are really great considering how relatively quick they are to make. I recommend everybody try it! These have a blueberry goat cheese filling! Notes about that and prep in the image alt texts

In process photo of “pop tarts” where most assemble is complete. The last pop tart does not have its hat on yet. We can see a healthy lump of goat cheese and blueberry filling on the flat pastry rectangle. For this process, I cut into rectangles store bought frozen puff pastry, docked the whole surface (probably not necessary) and pre-crimped the edges of each. then spread egg wash on those edges for sealing after placing the filling as shown here. The filling is goat cheese creamed with sage, and blueberry pie filling from a jar that I juiced up by simmering warm and peppery spices in brandy.

I succamb to the temptation and got Ghosts of Yotei and stayed up late taking pretty photos in photo mode and dang it was so relaxing. I needed that so bad.

I love the series Twin Peaks and most things David Lynch. Twin Peaks day is next week. To celebrate, Sunday afternoon I'll stream the most Twin Peaks inspired game I didn't know existed! Mizzurna Falls is a Japanese-made PS1 game that never got an English translation. The music and vibe is spot-on!

The other night I had to rest my hypermobile ol’ bones the and this little jaguar hopped into my lap. He was very sweet, but I was perched mostly horizontal on the edge of the couch and could not stand, could not lie down! Trapped in limbo by the beast!

The most challenging way to play solitaire is on an airplane using the little tv in-flight entertainment unit. Here’s a photo of my game from our trip back West where we only slept one hour the night before. Here’s the pro gamer tip! Use your tablet’s stylus for tappin’ and thwacking those cards!
