1968-ish: We're going to the Honeywell computer room on a Sat morning because that is when my dad could book time on the computer. My brother and I help carry boxes of punch cards then color on the green-and-white striped paper while he runs his programs.

I love the pics of little kids in their astronaut outfits and NASA t-shirts cheering the homecoming of Artemis. I remember being that kid during the Apollo splashdown. YAY SCIENCE!

My brother and I camped on the back of our Vega station wagon so we could watch the launch of Apollo 11 from across the lake. It was awe-inspiring. I will forever appreciate my Dad for making this possible for us.

SEE: Removing rainbow street art, leaving behind nothing but an ugly black stain.

Street in front of USF's south St Petersburg campus, where Florida DOT blacked out a colorful street mural painted by students and approved by FDOT.
