Dug 3 trenches at the allotment for spuds. Will plant them tomorrow. I'm knackered and am going home
Just handed out 1000 leaflets to 10 volunteers who will be delivering these to homes in Wivenhoe as part of our crowdjustice fundraiser to save some cherished old trees from the Council chop. www.crowdjustice.com/cases/?filte...
Here's our lovely oak, which is unfortunately up for the council chop but we are battling hard to raise money to fight for its life on www.crowdjustice.com/cases/?filte...
So fantastic when we get support from other tree campaigns. We've just had a message of support from @treesforbermondsey.bsky.social while we fight on to save Old King George, a beautiful 170 year old oak, as a nearby householder agrees
And here's a picture of the lovely old oak in Wivenhoe, Essex. Please support our fundraiser to stop it being chopped down #stopthechop
I'm hoping a few of your followers might support our campaign to protect a 170 year old oak tree in Wivenhoe. We have launched a crowdjustice fundraiser to be able to challenge Aviva and the Town Council from felling a beloved tree, known affectionately as Old King George.
Some end of year work at the allotment today. Mulched my asparagus trench and wrapped my two vine plants in some fetching fleece, making them the best dressed plants in my lot
