I made a financially irresponsible decision but after a few days I can honestly say the Steam Machine is amazing. I guess you can’t play Call of Duty 17 at 8Kinfinity ray traced but I’ve never been that type of gamer anyway. And that controller is one of the best I’ve ever played with.
The Talisman held up for me a second time around. Kind of lost me a little in the last section of the book but I still very much liked it. Need to hunt down a first print Moving on Black House for the first time and I’m curious to see how it ties into The Dark Tower
For me, 4th of July has always been about watching an insane amount of The Twilight Zone episodes in an air conditioned room all day. Keeping the tradition alive this weekend! What are some of your favorite Twilight Zone episodes?

I’ve heard all the negatives about the Steam Machine and have been going back and forth about this all weekend. I never get on the list for anything and somehow I landed in the reservation queue. Conflicted!
Supergirl was a fun time and I liked it a lot! I wish it stuck to Woman of Tomorrow a *little* bit more, especially visually, but the leads were great and it was a solid first outing for Supergirl. Momoa as Lobo is a way better fit than Aquaman too. Can’t wait to see more of Kara in Metropolis

Killadelphia by Rodney Barnes and Jason Shawn Alexander is one of the freshest and most brutal takes on vampires I've ever read. You never know what to expect next in the series and in recent arcs it brings in characters from other IP you'd never expect. Waiting patiently for new issues
I love everything about Birdking by Daniel Freedman and Crom. I'm not even the biggest fantasy fan but this comic instantly hooked me. Beautiful art from cover to cover with a fun adventure reminiscent of LOTR and Zelda that you'll be invested in
Greg Pak and the Planet Hulk saga are a huge reason why I got into comics when I did. Remains my favorite Hulk story to this day and one of the comics I re-visit the most. No one can stop the Worldbreaker!!
One of my favorite comics of the last decade or so and my usual go-to recommendation to new and old comic readers alike. It's hilarious, smart and you'll never look at Snagglepuss the same way again Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles by Mark Russell and Mike Feehan
Local Man by Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs is another comic I always recommend. A great series from start to finish that's hilarious and full of heart and real stakes. Felt like a love letter to 90s comics Hoping we get more of this comic in the future even though it wrapped up nicely
The Batman: One Bad Day series was excellent and I'd love to see another round of it. The standout issue for me was Clayface by Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly and Xermanico. Hands down the best Clayface story I’ve ever read Really excited for the upcoming Clayface movie
Annihilation by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning is one of the best Marvel events I've ever read. Epic in scope and full of Marvel Cosmic greatness. It gets a re-read every few years and I won't stop talking about it until all the comic book fans in my life have read it!
I'll start things off with Murder Falcon by Daniel Warren Johnson I tell anyone I can about this comic, it’s a special one. Always happy to see the impact this book has had on everyone who reads it! DWJ is unstoppable and this comic has a 99.9% chance of making you do air guitar and cry
