Similarly, one can see Scorsese working out his ideas for Taxi Driver in the storyboards he drew for Taxi Driver. A.I would have imposed its own vision, its own angles, its own "ideas" of lighting as referents.
An 11 year old Scorsese used self-created storyboards for an imaged film to foster his own creativity. Part of what makes them so charming is that you can see the young auteur working out his ideas about cinema through his own hand. The A.I version of this would have had none of his imprint
